Our Practical Vocational Training Program is based on an interactive learning experience within an environment which promotes skills development, learning, mentorship, career development and professional support.

Please take note of the minimum criteria to be considered for our clerkship programme:

  • LLB degree
  • Strong academic record
  • South African resident
  • South African driver’s licence
  • Required to enter into a two year contract of clerkship

Our aim is to recruit insightful “first class” Candidate Attorneys, who are committed and suitable to practice law within our KEBD culture and environment.

Vacation Program

The KEBD vacation program hosts university students for two weeks during the university holidays, during which the students are exposed to our firm and the legal work that we do. Students get to gain hands-on experience that will prepare them for their future in the legal sector.

Selection criteria:

  • Valid South African identity document
  • Currently completing third or final year at an accredited South African university
  • Not under a training contract with another law firm
  • Minimum year-to-date academic record average of 60%
