Steven Klagsbrun is a Senior Director and Chairman of KEBD. He was admitted as an attorney, notary and conveyancer in 1967 and has been in practice for 53 years. He has had experience in litigation, both civil and criminal, for 20 years (own appearances in Magistrate, Regional, Civil and Criminal Courts), trials and motions (including opposed). He has been actively involved as a conveyancer for more than 50 years, pioneered sectional title in Pretoria, and share block schemes country wide, which involved extensive contractual, commercial and corporate experience, including trusts, estate planning, wills and tax (resulting in migration to the corporate (commercial) contractual specialities in diverse guises). He has developed a loyal following of clients over more than 40 years, second generation and third generation, who have remained committed to KEBD. He served as Chairman of disciplinary committees of the Law Society for some 20 years, and on assessment committees.
